THE END OF AN ERA! ALOHA!
We told the landlord we're done as of September 30, 2011. Now comes the real hard part of cleaning out the shop after years of accumulating stuff! this should teach us a lesson. You know how you always think stuff is worth something? Sometimes you get lucky with a find, but most of the time you're just storing crap! We held on to stuff for years thinking somebody would need or want stuff. All we ended up doing was storing stuff so we could pay rent on it. Here's some pictures of what the beginning process looks like.
October 7, 2011: Looks like this weekend we'll finally get everything out of the shop. 1 last load to the dump and about a pickup load worth of stuff that Seatvet wants to hold on to and sell at some future swap meet or something...

load of metal stuff going to the recycler. heads, exhaust, cranks, cams, engine tin, nuts, bolts, axels, lots of cv joints (how in the world we ended up with so many of those I don't know!) I bet we end up getting $40 out of all of this. it's a shame somebody didn't want this stuff. I know we have 2-3 more loads of metal stuff to go out. Hard to beleive this is the 4th pickup load off metal we've hauled off over the past year. this stuff keeps multiplying
